Senior QA Lead – 2-3 Month On-Site Engagement

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Lead to join our on‑site team in Iraq for a short‑term engagement of 2‑3 months. The role will drive the quality assurance strategy across web and mobile projects, ensuring that all releases meet the required standards before production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate QA team activities across manual and automation testing streams.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and quality‑assurance frameworks.
• Review business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
• Oversee execution of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, API, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Monitor defects, ensure proper bug documentation, and support timely resolution.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software development and QA experience, including at least 2 years in QA‑focused roles.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Proven experience leading QA activities for web and mobile applications.
• Ability to design and implement a comprehensive test strategy.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
