Senior Product Manager - Ophthalmology

About the role

The Senior Product Manager – Ophthalmology will lead brand strategy and market analysis for our ophthalmic portfolio in Iraq. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams to drive growth and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize business challenges across private and tender sectors, conduct market research and provide actionable insights.
• Utilize market analytics, business intelligence and statistical methods to support strategic decision‑making.
• Track brand and competitor performance, recommend actions, and develop annual strategic and operational brand plans.
• Lead new product launches, ensuring readiness across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Regulatory and Supply Chain functions.
• Deliver marketing programs for healthcare professionals, hospitals, retail and consumers while monitoring KPIs.
• Develop sales forecasts, manage promotional budgets, evaluate ROI and monitor profitability.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Sales and Supply Chain to support product registrations, pricing and tender strategies.

• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• In‑depth understanding of local legal, regulatory, MOH and CMS requirements.
