Senior Media Manager – Baghdad

About the role

Mindshare is seeking a Senior Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of media campaigns across a range of channels. The role focuses on increasing brand awareness, engagement and conversions while aligning media activities with broader marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies across digital, social, print, broadcast and other channels.
• Plan, execute and optimise paid, earned and owned media campaigns.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers and internal teams to ensure media assets match brand voice and objectives.
• Allocate and manage media budgets to maximise ROI while staying within the overall marketing spend.
• Track, analyse and report on campaign performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers and advertising agencies.
• Support crisis communication and reputation management through media channels when required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in media planning and buying, covering both traditional and digital platforms.
• Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of using data to optimise media performance.
• Demonstrated capability to manage sizeable media budgets and deliver measurable ROI.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including vendor and agency relationship handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
