Senior General Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior General Accountant to lead daily accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy across the organization. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments and oversight of both accounting and inventory systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily accounting activities in line with approved policies.
• Oversee purchasing accounting, record entries, and prepare daily journal entries.
• Reconcile supplier balances, cash funds, and bank accounts, and handle settlements.
• Prepare financial statements, periodic reports, and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain data integrity in accounting and warehouse/inventory systems.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of practical accounting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong analytical abilities, high accuracy, and capacity to manage priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
