Senior CWI Engineer

About the role

The Senior CWI Engineer will provide expert engineering support for completions, workover, well intervention and well integrity operations at the Majnoon Oil Field. You will ensure high‑quality designs, technical assurance and compliance with HSSE and well integrity standards while driving continuous performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a proactive safety culture, conduct site safety visits, audits and toolbox talks.
• Prepare and review Completion, Workover and Intervention programs, develop well schematics, tool‑string designs and barrier philosophies.
• Provide real‑time engineering support to wellsite supervisors and analyse operational challenges.
• Support budgeting, forecasts and AFE inputs, monitor KPIs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead technical interfaces with service companies, evaluate proposals, manage contracts and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP and technical assurance reviews, and support incident investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 8‑12+ years of experience in completions, well intervention, workover and well integrity engineering.
• Valid IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention Pressure Control certification.
• Proven experience leading CWI engineering teams in high‑activity onshore fields.
• Strong knowledge of well integrity standards such as NORSOK D‑010.
