Production Support Engineer

About the role

The Production Support Engineer works under the Production Supervisor to record, analyze and report production data from office, field and laboratory environments. The role supports geologists and engineers in well optimization, performance monitoring and compliance reporting within the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze well and production data, assist in well optimization and failure analysis.
• Prepare monthly performance reports, weekly production and activity reports, and flowback reports for new completions.
• Coordinate process design, development, validation and documentation in line with company procedures.
• Monitor production, operations and maintenance services, ensuring conformity with external audits and accreditations.
• Track production deviations, implement corrective measures from wellhead to export, and support continuous improvement of production volume.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production operations within oil & gas.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in office, field and laboratory settings.
