Senior Copywriter

About the role

Wedo Agency is looking for a Senior Copywriter to join its on‑site team in Al‑Karkh. In this full‑time position you will craft compelling copy for a variety of marketing channels, press releases and client‑facing materials, helping brands communicate their vision effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and write clear, persuasive copy for campaigns, digital assets, and corporate communications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, designers and account managers to ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines and project goals.
• Proofread and edit content for accuracy, tone, and consistency across all channels.
• Maintain a content calendar and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Stay informed about digital marketing trends to incorporate fresh ideas into copy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or marketing‑focused setting.
• Strong writing, proofreading and press‑release creation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
