Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will design and deliver advanced BI solutions that turn complex data into actionable insights for the organization. Acting as the technical bridge between the BI Team Leader and BI Analysts, the role focuses on high‑impact dashboards, data models, KPI frameworks, and platform optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions aligned with organizational KPIs.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into KPI frameworks, reporting specifications, and scalable BI solutions.
• Build advanced data models, reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and optimized datasets.
• Integrate, clean, validate, and model data from multiple sources using SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and approved BI tools.
• Review BI deliverables prepared by analysts, providing technical feedback on accuracy, usability, and performance.
• Support workload planning, request prioritization, timeline estimation, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with IT, system owners, and data owners to maintain reliable data pipelines.
• Monitor report performance, dataset refresh reliability, and data model efficiency, implementing optimization actions.
• Maintain data dictionaries, report definitions, transformation logic, KPI calculation methods, and technical notes.
• Mentor BI Analysts on Power BI development, data modelling, DAX, dashboard design, and data quality practices.
• Develop Power Automate workflows to automate reporting and alerting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience developing advanced business intelligence solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, access control, and reporting standards.
