Senior Brand Manager

About the role

The Senior Brand Manager will shape and execute the brand strategy for a leading FMCG portfolio in Iraq. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will drive market share growth through integrated marketing, trade initiatives and product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Define brand strategy aligned with business and commercial plans using market, price and consumer research.
• Coordinate ATL and BTL advertising, create campaigns, promotions and indoor/outdoor activities.
• Lead local market research and trade‑marketing programs to support decision‑making and in‑store execution.
• Execute 360° communication across digital, social, ATL and BTL channels.
• Monitor brand performance, analyse sales, share of market, profit projections and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare annual marketing plans, budgets, media plans and oversee product launches.
• Collaborate with sales, production, R&D, finance and customer teams to ensure alignment and data sharing.
• Travel as needed to monitor business flow and implement actions on site.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably with a master’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in multinational or reputable local FMCG companies.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment; international or regional experience is a plus.
• Strong project‑management capability and willingness to lead initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
