Security Manager – EPCM

About the role

The EPCM Security Manager will lead the physical security function for KBR’s Basra project, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets and operations in a high‑risk environment. Reporting to the Client Security Manager, you will oversee security systems, clearances, loss‑prevention services and on‑site inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Security Risk Assessments in line with the evolving threat landscape.
• Coordinate movement and control of personnel and vehicular traffic on and off the Majnoon Oilfield.
• Administer security clearances for staff and visitors, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Manage loss‑prevention and detection services, including security inspections and incident reporting.
• Oversee security‑related contracts, verifying that contractors operate within defined scopes and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in physical security management, preferably in oil‑and‑gas or EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of security regulations, contract management and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent judgment, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a rotating 28‑day on/28‑day off schedule.
