Sales Team Leader

About the role

The Sales Team Leader will drive market penetration and manage field sales operations for Qi fintech solutions across the Sulaymaniyah Governorate. You will lead a high‑performing team of sales executives and booth agents, focusing on acquiring new corporate and merchant accounts and expanding the company’s footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor the field sales team and booth agents to meet daily, weekly and monthly acquisition targets.
• Monitor performance using digital reporting tools, track KPIs and ensure high activity and conversion rates.
• Plan and optimise daily territory routes for field executives to maximise merchant coverage.
• Drive electronic payment adoption by targeting retail segments, malls, local markets and service sectors.
• Engage high‑value merchants and strategic partners to secure processing agreements.
• Oversee lead pipeline, conduct follow‑ups and manage re‑visits to close contracts.
• Audit daily visit data, ensure accuracy of geographic coordinates and onboarding documentation.
• Prepare market analysis, competitive updates and sales trajectory reports for regional management.
• Ensure compliance with central bank regulations and internal risk guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role, preferably in Telecom, FMCG, Banking or FinTech.
• Fluency in Kurdish (Sorani) and Arabic; English proficiency is a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of Sulaymaniyah’s commercial geography and business networks.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the governorate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CRM or field‑tracking software.
• Ability to use MS Office suite.
