Sales Manager – Sanitation & Municipal Vehicles

About the role

SANY is looking for a Sales Manager to join its International Business team in Iraq, driving sales and business development for its sanitation and municipal vehicle portfolio. The role focuses on products such as water sprinkler trucks, garbage trucks, and other specialised sanitation vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, contractors, municipalities, and government‑related organisations.
• Promote and sell sanitation and specialised vehicles.
• Identify market opportunities, projects, and customer requirements.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
• Conduct regular customer and market visits.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular market updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales experience in sanitation, municipal, commercial, heavy‑equipment or specialised vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of the local Iraq market.
• Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
• Strong customer network and market relationships (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Chinese language skills (preferred but not mandatory).
