Sales Expansion Officer – Food

About the role

The Sales Expansion Officer – Food will join Baly’s Commercial team in Baghdad and drive restaurant acquisition for the company’s food‑delivery platform. You will be responsible for introducing Baly to restaurants, negotiating partnership terms and supporting the launch of new markets across Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to restaurant owners and managers to present Baly’s value proposition.
• Identify decision‑makers and arrange field visits or in‑person meetings.
• Travel to newly targeted provinces or cities to secure on‑ground restaurant partners.
• Negotiate commission rates and partnership terms in line with company guidelines.
• Close deals, sign restaurants onto the platform and oversee their onboarding.
• Track acquisition progress, report market feedback and collaborate with internal teams (commercial, growth, marketing, operations).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, telesales or market expansion.
• Strong phone‑based and face‑to‑face sales abilities with a target‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work independently on field assignments.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
