Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

Capricorn is seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Specialist to join its Erbil office. The role combines proactive sales prospecting with the execution of marketing initiatives to promote the company’s services across target markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, meet with existing and potential clients, and present Capricorn’s service portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and follow up to close deals.
• Support and coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and events, both digital and offline.
• Create and contribute to marketing content, including brochures, presentations, and social media posts.
• Monitor market trends, provide insights for business development strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Experience in training colleagues or partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with basic digital marketing tools.
• Experience with CRM systems (advantageous).
