Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant works full‑time on‑site at Mariana Hotel in Erbil, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and corridors, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Replenish room amenities and supplies according to hotel standards.
• Collect, sort, and deliver linens and towels, handling laundry tasks safely and efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues and follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Interact courteously with guests and coordinate with supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning checklists.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic understanding of hotel hygiene and safety practices.
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
