About the role
The Internet Analytics Group at IMDEA Networks Institute seeks a full‑time Research Engineer to work on Android systems security, mobile systems, and cybersecurity. You will join ongoing projects focused on mobile and network security and collaborate with senior researchers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop research software and analysis tools for Android security and mobile networking.
- Participate in research projects under the supervision of Dr. Narseo Vallina‑Rodríguez and Vinuri Bandara.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Experience with database management (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Good written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and software‑engineering best practices.
