Reporting Specialist (Finance)

About the role

The Reporting Specialist will support LC Waikiki's finance team in Erbil by preparing, analysing and ensuring the accuracy of periodic management reports, budgets and treasury data. This role combines detailed financial reporting with proactive analysis to drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse periodic management reports (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Treasury, etc.) in line with company guidelines.
• Develop the annual budget following HQ budgeting standards.
• Conduct financial data analysis to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and Group GAAP.
• Analyse inventory processes, support stock‑taking reconciliations and recommend enhancements.
• Report treasury costs, devise action plans to minimise expenses, and manage bank guarantees.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities and provide advisory input.
• Calculate and control accruals, provisions and internal finance controls.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports for HQ and Country Manager as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic (written and verbal).
• 5‑6 years of experience in a similar finance reporting role; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities and high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
