Recreation Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Recreation Attendant to join our team at the Rotana hotel in Slemani. The role focuses on maintaining the health club and pool areas to the highest standards while delivering excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the main and children’s swimming pools and the entire health club area are clean at all times and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep sun lounges clean and free of debris throughout operation.
• Sweep and water down the pool deck each morning and arrange furniture correctly.
• Provide guest assistance on arrival to Bodylines and assist with cleaning all operational areas.
• Give tours to potential new members, explaining prices and facility details.
• Monitor changing rooms, keeping them clear of litter, used towels, and other waste.
• Report guest complaints to superiors immediately.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in sports/leisure field.
• Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferable.
• Ability to swim.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors.
• Good command of English and strong interpersonal abilities.
