About the role
We are seeking a professional Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest experiences from check‑in through check‑out in our 5‑star hotel. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth front‑desk operations and contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest inquiries promptly and provide accurate information.
- Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, including audit processes.
- Communicate guest feedback and inter‑departmental updates to the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors.
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
- Participate in training sessions and support the Night Team’s development.
- Promote hotel rooms, rates, packages, and upsell services to maximize occupancy.
- Process foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to hotel credit policies.
- Adhere to security, fire safety, health, and safety regulations.
- Operate front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems correctly.
- Assist other departments when required.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Receptionist in a 5‑star hotel.
- Advanced proficiency in English, Arabic or Kurdish (reading, writing, speaking).
- Thorough knowledge of the Opera property management system.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and emergency procedures.
