Rare Disease Advisor (Iraq)

About the role

Er‑Kim is looking for a passionate Rare Disease Advisor to join its Iraq team. The role will provide scientific and clinical expertise to shape medical strategies for the company’s rare‑disease portfolio and support the delivery of innovative treatments to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement medical plans that align with Er‑Kim’s rare‑disease strategy.
• Act as the scientific expert on rare‑disease therapies, delivering insights to internal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and patient‑advocacy groups.
• Support clinical development, medical education and scientific engagement initiatives.
• Provide medical expertise to cross‑functional teams including commercial, regulatory and market access.
• Review medical and scientific content in promotional and educational materials for accuracy.
• Assist with medical information and pharmacovigilance activities related to rare‑disease products.
• Monitor and analyse emerging scientific and clinical developments in rare diseases.

Required profile

• Experience in Medical Affairs or Market Access, preferably within rare diseases.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and clinical trial processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
