Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will lead detailed quantification and cost management for multi‑disciplinary construction projects. You will ensure accurate tender documents, bills of quantities, cost estimates and support contract administration to drive successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and contracts to determine material, labour and project costs.
• Support the tendering process by evaluating bids, preparing submissions and assisting in subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor project budgets, variations, claims and expenditures to maintain effective cost control.
• Administer contracts, process variations and change orders, and help resolve contractual issues.
• Conduct site visits during pre‑tender and execution phases to verify quantities and assess progress.
• Produce regular progress, cost and financial forecast reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with measurement standards, contractual requirements, quality standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to support efficient delivery.
• Support HSE initiatives and adhere to safety and IMS policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Diploma in Engineering or related technical certifications (advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years overall experience, including at least 3 years in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in GCC construction projects preferred.
• Background in construction, infrastructure or multi‑disciplinary projects is a plus.
