Public Relations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations & Communications Manager to lead key client accounts, shape communication strategies, and drive team performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own our most important client relationships and ensure the delivery of high‑quality communications work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage key client relationships, acting as the senior communications counterpart.
• Develop communication strategies, positioning, messaging, campaigns, and crisis communication plans.
• Mentor and oversee the account and communications team, ensuring quality across Arabic, Kurdish, and English outputs.
• Plan and execute campaigns, product launches, events, and announcements from concept through delivery.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, reporting, and overall client satisfaction.
• Support the CEO in proposals, pitches, and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Proven track record leading client accounts and teams, preferably in an agency setting.
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English; Kurdish is a plus.
• Strong ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Confidence presenting to senior clients, handling crisis situations, and navigating Iraq’s media, cultural, and business landscape.
