Projects Development Engineer

About the role

The Projects Development Engineer supports the Opportunity & New Technology Development Section by identifying, evaluating, and maturing brownfield modification and production‑enhancement opportunities across surface facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the projects register and monitor opportunity status.
• Coordinate prioritisation of project opportunities with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to evaluate development alternatives and assess cost‑effective technologies.
• Develop cost and schedule estimates, business justifications and value propositions.
• Advance projects through a structured gated development process and support hand‑over to execution teams.
• Collaborate with Operations to define operational requirements and with third‑party engineers for technical evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Oil & Gas Surface Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in oil & gas surface engineering, project development, opportunity assessment or brownfield facility modification, supported by at least 10 years of overall industry experience.
