About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Officer to support its Rehabilitation, Reconciliation, and Reintegration (RRR) operations in Erbil, Iraq. The role is situated within the Peace, Recovery and Solutions Division (PRSD) and contributes to delivering durable‑solution interventions for internally displaced persons and returnees.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the integrated RRR approach for internally displaced persons and returnees.
  • Contribute to case management, Information, Counseling and Referral Services (ICRS), and community‑based dialogue initiatives.
  • Assist in reconciliation, rehabilitation, and reintegration activities, including Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) programmes.

Required profile

  • Relevant experience in humanitarian project implementation, preferably in RRR or durable‑solution contexts.
  • Ability to work with governmental, intergovernmental and non‑governmental partners.
