Project Manager – Oil & Gas Development (Iraq)

About the role

AntonAnton Oilfield Services Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead oil and gas development projects in Iraq. The role combines strategic market development, full‑cycle project execution, and multicultural team leadership to drive growth and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate long‑term market strategies for Iraq, analyse industry trends and policies, and drive new project development.
• Lead feasibility studies, bidding processes, and key contract negotiations with INOC, MOO, IOCs and local partners.
• Oversee project safety, schedule, quality and cost, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual obligations.
• Resolve major technical, commercial and compliance challenges during project execution.
• Lead multicultural project teams, build talent pipelines, strengthen team culture and manage community/tribe relations while ensuring CSR and legal compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in petroleum, mechanical or chemical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of oil & gas experience, including at least 3 years as a project leader in Iraq or the Middle East.
• Proven track record managing full‑cycle international projects from tender to delivery with strong P&L and commercial acumen.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent leadership, negotiation and cross‑cultural communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to travel frequently for international assignments.
