Professional Automotive Technician

About the role

The Professional Technician will perform routine automotive maintenance, quick repairs, and complex mechanical repairs for Toyota vehicles, ensuring compliance with Toyota's quality standards and dealership procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repair, brake system repair, transmission service, suspension repair, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Replace faulty or worn‑out parts with genuine Toyota parts, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify that all work meets Toyota's quality specifications.
• Document all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings, according to dealership procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers to explain repair needs, estimated costs, and timelines when required.
• Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Automotive Technology, Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Previous experience in an authorized automotive dealership or service centre is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Intermediate English skills to understand technical manuals, diagnostic codes, and repair instructions.
