About the role
The Production Shift Supervisor will lead plant production and operations, ensuring safe, stable and compliant performance in a challenging oil & gas environment. Reporting to senior management, the role combines hands‑on supervision with strategic oversight of teams, training and emergency response.
Key responsibilities
- Direct overall plant production and daily operations, managing team administration.
- Maintain stable, safe and regulatory‑compliant plant performance aligned with company and client standards.
- Oversee workforce training, competency assessments and personnel development programmes.
- Coordinate commissioning, start‑up, normal operation and emergency response activities.
- Enforce ISSOW, PTW and all site safety protocols.
Required profile
- 10–15 years of oil & gas plant operations experience in demanding environments.
- Internationally recognised qualifications (NVQ, C&G, OPITO or equivalent) and a valid emergency response competency certification.
- Valid internationally recognised driving licence.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong background in coaching, mentoring and competency assessment.
Required skills
- Proven use of CMMS and SAP systems.
- Solid commissioning experience.
- Competence in complex work, flange management, ESRs and small‑bore tubing activities.
- Familiarity with ISSOW and PTW work‑control systems.
- Emergency response competency.
