Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to lead the purchasing activities for food and non-food items at our restaurant operations in Baghdad. The role ensures that all materials are available in the right quantities and quality to support uninterrupted service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement operations for food and non-food supplies, aligning with operational needs.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost-effective purchases.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and verify that goods meet specifications.
• Conduct regular price comparisons and market analysis to support cost-optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with restaurant operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply-chain flow and adequate inventory levels.
• Generate procurement reports, maintain accurate records, and provide analytical insights for management decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of proven procurement experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage or restaurant sector.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management capabilities.
• Ability to analyze market trends and price data.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
