Plant Manager – PET Preform Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead our PET preform manufacturing facility in Babylon, Iraq. The role oversees all aspects of production, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day plant operations, production planning, inventory control and scheduling.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance, quality, warehouse and production teams to meet output targets.
• Monitor machine efficiency, productivity and cost, implementing lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Utilise SAP S/4HANA for planning, reporting and operational management.
• Drive operational improvements and support continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including managerial responsibility.
• Strong background in PET preform production, plastic injection molding or FMCG packaging.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP system.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
