Planning & Control Analyst

About the role

The Planning & Control Analyst will leverage multiple data sources to measure, analyze, and interpret project performance across scope, schedule, cost, and risk. This role supports senior leadership and project managers by providing actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from business cases, baselines, management plans, Open Wells reports, financials, and resource utilization.
• Analyze variances and trends in key control areas and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identify root‑cause issues and develop action plans to achieve cost savings and improve project pull‑through.
• Provide financial, contractual, and project‑based guidance with a focus on well engineering operations.
• Support decision‑making and strategy development for current projects and future bids.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in operations and engineering.
• Exposure to multi‑discipline operations is preferred.
