Piping Site Lead – Onshore Gas Treatment Project

About the role

The Piping Site Lead will oversee all piping construction activities for a fast‑track gas treatment facility in Iraq. Reporting to the project management team, the Lead ensures safety, cost‑effectiveness, quality, and schedule compliance while supporting ongoing oil production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on‑site piping works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Enforce HSE rules, conduct Job Safety Analyses, toolbox talks, and report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare, review, and validate construction methods, work instructions, and risk analyses.
• Manage subcontractors, allocate manpower and equipment, and optimise work schedules.
• Resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams and support asset‑integrity initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with legal, environmental, and company requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading piping construction projects in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, QA/QC, and asset‑integrity practices.
• Ability to work under fast‑track timelines and manage multiple subcontractors.
• Excellent communication skills for transparent interaction with contractors and internal teams.
