Physician – Full-time or Part-time

About the role

AUIB is looking for a dynamic physician to provide primary care and emergency services on its campus. The role can be filled as a full‑time or part‑time position, depending on the candidate’s preference.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary medical consultations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments, and manage follow‑up care.
• Respond promptly to on‑campus medical emergencies and coordinate with hospitals or ambulance services.
• Collaborate with nurses, administrative staff, and university departments to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic and physical medical records in line with Iraqi Ministry of Health requirements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with medical practices and participate in campus health, safety, and emergency training.

Required profile

• Medical specialty in family medicine or emergency medicine (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.
• High personal and professional integrity and commitment to ethical principles.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
