Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to provide on‑call support for enterprise infrastructure across Iraq. The role combines hands‑on management of Nutanix hyper‑converged environments with networking troubleshooting and disaster‑recovery implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage Nutanix HCI platforms (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, virtualization and networking issues.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery solutions and ensure data protection.
• Provide on‑call incident response and support across regional time zones.
• Collaborate with global teams on cloud and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or virtualization engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the Nutanix stack; Nutanix certification (NCP or higher) preferred.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper‑V environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with disaster‑recovery and backup tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language.
• Team‑oriented, proactive attitude and capacity to handle critical incidents.
