National Project Officer (Livelihoods)

About the role

The Livelihoods National Project Officer will lead technical teams delivering livelihood assistance programmes, coordinating closely with operations and partners to ensure effective implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical implementation, financial, logistical and administrative aspects of ILA, EPW and GA programmes.
• Monitor progress, evaluate results, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Integrate gender, protection and human‑rights considerations into programme delivery.
• Develop monitoring, evaluation and reporting tools and manage information dissemination.
• Liaise with government entities, UN agencies, donors and civil‑society partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with four years of experience, or Master’s with two years.
• Prior experience leading livelihoods initiatives for international humanitarian organisations.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable groups.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and Kurdish are an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of livelihoods programmes and related policy frameworks.
• Understanding of governmental livelihoods programmes and financial regulations.
