MERT Medic – Emergency Medical Professional (90/30 Rotation)

About the role

Diri Al-Nassir Security Services (DANSS) is looking for experienced medical professionals to join a dedicated Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) supporting a major international oil & gas project in Kirkuk, Iraq. The role involves delivering emergency medical care in a high‑risk, austere environment while working on a 90‑day on / 30‑day off rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to personnel on a major oil & gas project in Kirkuk.
• Respond to medical emergencies as part of the dedicated MERT team, operating in high‑risk and austere environments.
• Conduct clinical assessments, stabilize patients, and coordinate evacuation when required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in emergency, pre‑hospital, remote or operational medical settings.
• Background in military, emergency services, healthcare or government medical roles.
• Valid medical registration, certification or licence (EMT, Paramedic, Combat Medic, ECT, Registered Nurse or FREC 4/5).
• Fluent English, valid passport and driving licence, clean criminal record.
