Medical Representative – Iraq

About the role

The Medical Representative will act as the main link between HOLDAL and healthcare professionals across Iraq. You will promote product knowledge, introduce new medicines, and provide scientific support to doctors, pharmacists and medical institutions while striving to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular monthly visits to targeted medical specialists, delivering accurate product and disease information.
• Support the organization and attendance of local and international scientific events such as round tables and conferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to encourage prescriptions and increase brand presence.
• Identify, recruit and onboard new healthcare customers to expand market reach.
• Collect and report data on product efficacy, safety, adverse events and competitor activities.
• Gather insights on physicians’ prescribing habits to inform marketing and sales strategies.
• Submit detailed visit reports to the manager to ensure adherence to the planned visit cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific field.
• 0–4 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of diseases, pharmacology and medical terminology.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Kurdish is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Effective time‑management and organizational skills.
