Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will join Al-Mawrid Scientific Bureau in Baghdad to ensure the reliability and performance of medical equipment. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of both mechanical and electrical systems within a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on medical devices and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support equipment uptime and safety standards.
• Assist in planning maintenance schedules and spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Prior exposure to the healthcare or medical‑device sector is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints.
