Linen Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Linen Supervisor to join our operations team in Baghdad. In this position you will oversee all aspects of linen management, ensuring high standards of quality, cleanliness and organization across the hotel’s laundry and distribution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily linen operations including receiving, sorting, washing, pressing and distribution.
• Manage linen inventory, track stock movements and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect linens for quality, damage and cleanliness, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Train, schedule and coach linen staff, providing performance feedback.
• Develop efficient workflows to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and address service requests.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and report any operational issues.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory, staff schedules and operational metrics while ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Linen Supervisor or similar supervisory role in hospitality, healthcare or laundry operations.
• Strong knowledge of linen management, fabric care standards and laundry processes.
• Ability to lead, motivate and provide feedback to a team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to linen handling.
