About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chef to lead the culinary operations of a prestigious luxury palace. The successful candidate will design, prepare, and present refined menus that reflect the palace’s high standards while showcasing expertise in Arabic and Iraqi cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and present luxury‑level menus that meet palace standards.
• Prepare dishes with precision, artistry, and strict adherence to palace etiquette.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring seamless daily operations.
• Innovate new recipes while respecting traditional flavors and guest preferences.
• Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of distinguished guests.

Required profile

• Culinary degree or professional certification in gastronomy.
• Proven experience as a chef in luxury hotels, fine‑dining restaurants, or high‑profile hospitality settings.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Arabic speaking is mandatory; English or French proficiency is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic cuisine, with specialization in Iraqi dishes preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure.
• Exceptional grooming, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special palace events.
