Land Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Land Freight Operations Coordinator will oversee the movement of goods by road across Iraq, ensuring that cross‑border shipments are executed smoothly and in compliance with local regulations. This role is pivotal for maintaining efficient freight flows and supporting the company’s supply‑chain objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑border road shipments into and out of Iraq, managing schedules and documentation.
• Handle customs procedures, ensuring accurate declaration and timely clearance.
• Monitor freight operations, track shipments, and resolve any disruptions.
• Utilise SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel to record transactions, generate reports, and analyse performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise routing and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in land freight operations or import logistics.
• Proven experience coordinating cross‑border shipments into Iraq.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and Iraqi customs procedures.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; Kurdish or Turkish is a plus.
