About the role

We are looking for a native‑level Kurdish Language Specialist to support AI‑driven language projects. This remote, hourly position involves translating, editing, and annotating Kurdish content to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish texts for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide linguistic analysis that enhances AI understanding of Kurdish usage.
• Annotate and review datasets used for AI model training and evaluation.
• Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project goals.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish content across applications.
• Share insights on linguistic nuances and cultural context with cross‑functional teams.
• Act as a linguistic consultant for AI and language‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and command of language conventions.
• Fluent in both Kurdish and English (written and verbal).
• Understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural context.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
