IT Specialist for Manufacturing Site in Iraq

About the role

Evyap is looking for an IT Specialist to be the primary local IT contact for its manufacturing site in Iraq. You will ensure day‑to‑day IT operations run smoothly, support end‑users, and maintain the continuity of the site’s technology infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, network, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Maintain local LAN/WLAN, internet connectivity and site IT infrastructure; troubleshoot first‑level issues and coordinate with Central IT or service providers as needed.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and authorizations in line with corporate IT and security policies.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and other corporate end‑user technologies.
• Ensure operational continuity of factory and warehouse devices such as handheld terminals, barcode scanners, label printers and industrial PCs.
• Provide first‑line support for Logo Tiger ERP and other corporate applications, escalating when necessary.
• Monitor local systems for backup, updates, patching and security compliance.
• Implement corporate information‑security and cybersecurity policies and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain inventory of IT hardware, software, licenses and assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for installations, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in providing IT support in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with LAN/WLAN networking, ERP systems (preferably Logo Tiger) and industrial IT devices.
• Understanding of backup, patch management and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and work with external vendors.
