IOF Project Advisor (Intelligent Oil Field) – Onsite

About the role

The IOF Project Advisor will work on‑site to drive Intelligent Oil Field initiatives, linking operational data, digital technologies and business outcomes. You will assess current field performance, define high‑value digital use cases and guide the implementation of data‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess field operational data, infrastructure, production bottlenecks and data integrity.
• Identify and prioritize high‑value digital use cases such as predictive maintenance, methane leak monitoring and asset integrity monitoring.
• Define technology architecture, including data pipelines, cloud vs. on‑prem solutions, historian integration, edge computing and cybersecurity requirements.
• Coordinate project delivery: vendor management, scope definition, risk mitigation, deployment planning and KPI tracking.
• Oversee data and analytics governance, ensuring data quality, KPI definition, analytics validation and workflow automation.
• Lead change management activities: train field personnel, develop SOPs, align engineers with new workflows and demonstrate ROI.

Required profile

• Strong upstream oil‑field domain knowledge, including operations, maintenance, asset information management and surface facilities.
• Experience with digital and technical concepts such as SCADA, industrial IoT, CMMS, eDMS, cloud architecture and cybersecurity.
• Proven consulting skills: stakeholder management, business case development, agile/project delivery and vendor coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, field teams and technical specialists.
