Human Resources Specialist (Baghdad)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team in Baghdad. The role will ensure smooth daily HR operations, maintain accurate employee records, and support a respectful and safe workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Monitor attendance, follow up on absences, and handle related administrative tasks.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to staff and managers, addressing queries and facilitating communication.
• Contribute to building a professional, healthy, and safe work environment based on fairness, clear communication, and trust.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, policies, and local labor regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HR information systems.
