Hostess – Guest Reception and Service

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. In this front‑of‑house position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests.
• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and remain available as their primary point of contact.
• Manage outlet reservations, maintain the reservation book, and answer telephone inquiries with impeccable etiquette.
• Prepare the outlet before opening in collaboration with the service team.
• Coordinate with the service team to arrange floor plans for reservations and block tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the outlet and entrance area.
• Ensure guest well‑being through attentive yet discreet interaction.
• Know menus and ongoing promotions thoroughly to make informed recommendations.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining the outlet’s database.
• Confirm guest satisfaction at departure and address any concerns.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality, preferably with experience in a hotel Food & Beverage department.
• Polite, sophisticated demeanor with excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
