Head of Marketing (Iraq)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our brand portfolio in Iraq. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape market strategy, drive brand growth and ensure alignment with the company’s global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define brand strategy that supports business and commercial plans through market, price and consumer analyses.
• Coordinate ATL and BTL advertising, create campaigns, promotions and indoor/outdoor activities to increase market share.
• Execute 360° communication across ATL, BTL, digital and social media channels.
• Collaborate with regional teams to share learnings and best practices across business categories.
• Monitor brand performance and recommend targeted initiatives.
• Manage local market research and a wide product portfolio.
• Handle budgeting, financial analysis, feasibility studies, cost control and EBITDA reporting.
• Prepare the annual marketing plan, budget and media communication plan.
• Organise product launches and conceptualise strategic campaigns.
• Work closely with sales, production, R&D and finance to achieve results and act as the main brand liaison.
• Track consumer and market insights through sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing, distribution and consumer research.
• Travel as needed to monitor business flow and take corrective actions on site.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably with a master’s degree.
• Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in multinational or reputable local FMCG companies with leading brands.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment; international or regional experience is a strong asset.
• Willingness to be mobile within the scope of the role.
