Growth and Engagement Expert – Digital Platforms

About the role

Zain Iraq is seeking a Growth and Engagement Expert to own the operational execution of its marketing technology and engagement stack across digital platforms. You will translate platform investments into measurable commercial outcomes by designing lifecycle journeys, running acquisition campaigns, and driving key metrics such as monthly active users, retention, and direct monetisation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, configure and administer the customer engagement stack on all digital channels.
• Maintain integration health between engagement, attribution and analytics platforms, escalating any issues.
• Design, build and launch personalised, trigger‑based lifecycle journeys across owned channels.
• Manage the engagement calendar to avoid message fatigue and channel conflict.
• Develop and maintain audience segments for precise targeting.
• Run onboarding, activation, retention, re‑activation and win‑back programmes, iterating based on performance data.
• Define acquisition strategy, set channel priorities, targets and budget logic.
• Oversee paid media performance, coordinate with internal teams and agencies, and reallocate budget based on attribution evidence.
• Own app store optimisation, including metadata, creative assets and store conversion performance.
• Identify and execute monetisation opportunities across digital platforms.
• Maintain an experiment backlog, run tests and report campaign performance in commercial terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
