GIS & Administrative Officer

About the role

The GIS & Administrative Officer provides specialised administrative support while handling geographic information system tasks. You will ensure project documentation is well‑organized, track approvals, and produce accurate maps for engineering and regulatory purposes.

Key responsibilities

• Archive physical and electronic project files in a structured, searchable system.
• Print, track, and manage project documentation from issuance to hand‑over.
• Prepare daily “lessons learned” reports for ongoing projects.
• Follow up with authorities and stakeholders on project approval processes.
• Create project maps using ArcGIS and validate them against official state maps.
• Export GIS data to CAD format for engineering and regulatory submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, GIS, applied geography, engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in file archiving or administrative support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and GIS tools (ArcGIS, AutoCAD).
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
