Finance Controller / Financial Auditor (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller / Financial Auditor to lead financial control processes within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with standards, and provide strategic insights that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial control processes, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, cost control, and profitability analyses.
• Conduct internal financial audits and evaluate internal control effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory valuation, COGS, and overall financial performance in an FMCG environment.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Handle financial transactions and reporting using SAP FI/CO modules.
• Identify financial risks, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance controlling or financial auditing, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
