Field Water Treatment Technician / Engineer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Baghdad involves field inspections, installation, commissioning and maintenance of water treatment systems for industrial, commercial and residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field inspections, install and commission water treatment equipment.
• Conduct water sampling, testing and monitor system performance.
• Adjust treatment parameters and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain detailed service records.
• Support project engineers with system design improvements and coordinate site visits.
• Train local operators on proper system operation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with reverse osmosis, filtration and softening systems in field conditions.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret test results and diagnose system issues.
• Fluent in Arabic; working proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Iraq and work in outdoor/industrial environments.
